House rules

To ensure a pleasant stay and avoid any misunderstandings, please take a moment to review our house rules. By confirming your reservation, you agree to abide by these rules. Violating the house rules may result in the cancellation of your reservation and the requirement to pay the full accommodation fee, regardless of the length of your stay.

1. Guest Registration:

o Upon arrival, guests must present their personal documents (passport or ID) to the property owner and pay the remaining balance for their stay. The property owner will then complete your registration.

o Personal documents will only be kept for the duration required to finalize the registration process.

2. Owner Availability:

o The owners are available to assist guests throughout their stay. Should you need any assistance or information, feel free to contact them.

o If you have any complaints regarding the quality of the accommodation, please reach out to the owners directly.

3. Property Care:

o Guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the accommodation during their stay. The owners are not required to clean, tidy up, or take out the garbage.

o Bed linens will be changed every 7 days, or a new set will be provided upon request if you prefer not to be disturbed. Towels and an initial supply of toilet paper will be provided.

4. Check-In and Check-Out:

o Check-In: Earliest at 4:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request, depending on the villa’s cleaning and sanitization schedule.

o Check-Out: Latest at 10:00 AM. Late check-out may be available upon request, depending on the arrival time of the next guests.

5. Guest Conduct:

o While guests are not obligated to entertain themselves, the owners are happy to provide recommendations and information on local activities.

o Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings and valuables. The owners are not liable for any loss or theft of items. It is recommended to close all doors and windows when leaving the accommodation and store valuables in the safe.

6. Owner Entry:

o The owners do not have the right to enter the accommodation during guests’ absence unless necessary to prevent damage or danger. In such cases, guests will be informed as soon as possible.

o If the owners suspect that the house rules are being violated, guests must grant access to the accommodation to verify the situation.

7. Pets:

o Pets are allowed only with prior permission from the owners. Bringing pets without prior notice is not allowed, and the owners reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

o Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their pets and must clean up after them both inside and outside the accommodation.

o Pets are not allowed on furniture, and any evidence of pets on furniture may result in additional cleaning fees.

o All pets must be vaccinated in accordance with EU regulations. The owners are not responsible for any illness or injury sustained by pets during the stay.

o Pets are strictly prohibited from entering the swimming pool area.

8. Prohibited Items:

o Weapons, flammable or explosive substances, or products with strong or unpleasant odours are not allowed in the house.

o Cooking or electrical appliances not provided by the owners may not be used without prior consent.

9. Furniture and Equipment:

o Guests are kindly asked to take care of the accommodation and its furniture. Furniture should not be moved outside or to the beach.

o The use of any equipment or appliance not included in the accommodation price requires the owners’ prior approval.

10. Leaving the Accommodation:

o When leaving the accommodation, guests must close parasols, turn off lights and electrical appliances, and ensure that gas and water taps are closed.

o Air conditioning should not be left running when not needed, and doors and windows should be closed while it is in use.

o Waste should be disposed of properly and not thrown in toilets or inappropriate places.

11. Unauthorized Guests:

o It is strictly forbidden for anyone other than the registered guests to stay inside or outside the villa. The presence of undeclared individuals may lead to the cancellation of the reservation.

o Guests staying in other accommodations do not have the right to enter the villa without prior agreement.

12. Damages and Deposit:

o Guests will be required to reimburse the owners for any damage to the property.

o The owners may request a deposit upon arrival, which will be refunded in full if the accommodation is left in its original condition.

o Damage and Deposit Fee – 500 euros

13. Departure:

o On the day of departure, guests must vacate the accommodation by 10:00 AM to allow time for preparation for the next guests.

o The accommodation should be left in a tidy and undamaged condition.

14. Quiet Hours:

o To respect the neighbours, guests are requested to avoid disturbances between 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM to 10:00 AM.

15. Rule Enforcement:

o The owners reserve the right to terminate the reservation for guests who do not adhere to the house rules. In such cases, guests will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

o Any unresolved issues will involve the intervention of the police or the tribunal of Rijeka. Complaints will only be considered if reported during the stay.

By using the accommodation, guests confirm they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these house rules and their associated responsibilities.
